This is an old website created during my undergraduate degree (2014 - 2019) to showcase my teaching accomplishments and experience. This website will not be updated, for most recent works please be redirected to my current website here.
My own philosophy as a teacher is to encourage empowerment, respect, and nurture in the classroom. I have learned that the best way to engage and encourage students is to lead them to their own discovery and for them to take ownership of their own ideas. I am delighted at the emphasis on cross-curriculum and multiple layers of learning in our education system at the moment as I believe that creativity is linked throughout all fields in our lives. It is important for students to take responsibility for their choices and have the freedom to develop who they are as an artist and as a citizen.
